A low centre of gravity and clever design with special shock absorbers and robust shock and damping elements make the KAP-HN series by BAUER KOMPRESSOREN ideal for continuous operation at sea under the harshest of conditions.

Thanks to their horizontal design, they take up little space when installed and are even capable of operation in heavy seas and on steep slopes.

Extremely hard-wearing compressor blocks and piston rings made from an innovative high-tech plastic combined with plasma-nitrided and plateau-honed cylinders virtually eliminate wear. The intercoolers and aftercoolers are made from stainless steel for high corrosion resistance.

Can be expanded to rise to any challenge: the extensive range of BAUER accessories provides the basis for flexible adaptation to meet all manner of requirements.

The intermediate pressure gauges show the operating pressure of the individual compressor stages. This information about the pressure is used to check the corresponding stage valves (inlet and outlet) for leaks so that potential faults can be detected quickly. The intermediate pressure gauges are installed inside the compressor housing.

60 l condensate collection system

60 l condensate collection system
This convenient system provides a central collection point for the condensate (oil and water mixture) produced during the compression process inside the compressor. The condensate tank features an integrated float switch which can be relied upon to monitor the level of condensate in the tank and provides protection against overfilling. A combined silencer and filter unit prevents pollution caused by noise or odour.
